Canon DIGIC 5 Image Processor
The latest-generation Canon DIGIC 5 Image Processor brings phenomenal increases in processing speed and power. Improved chip architecture and algorithms deliver greatly expanded functionality with further refinement in image quality. Improved noise reduction produces clearer images when shooting in low light at high ISO speeds. Enhanced i-Contrast performance adjusts differences between light and dark areas to achieve even more natural-looking results. The faster processing speed also results in faster continuous shooting capability. The DIGIC 5 Image Processor also makes possible a new, highly advanced automatic white balance system. Canon HS SYSTEM

With wireless two-way radio communication, the Speedlite 600 EX-RT allows photographers to expand their creativity using wireless speedlites with the reliability of radio triggering. The Speedlite 600EX-RT offers an expanded zoom range and a higher guide number, plus a number of improvements over its predecessor in both operation and feel. It features a new dot-matrix LCD panel for display of all pertinent shooting information, backlit controls plus an internal sound generator. Peripheral Illumination Correction, Chromatic Aberration Correction, and Distortion Correction

The EOS 5D Mark III features a number of corrective tools to accommodate for the particulars of the lens used. Canon's lens peripheral illumination correction feature corrects light falloff in the corner of the image. Chromatic aberration can be corrected at the time of shooting with the 5D Mark III's Chromatic Aberration Correction tool. The new Distortion Correction feature corrects distortions such as curved lines by correcting for the characteristics of the particular lens used to take the shot so images that may have been distorted in the captured image appear straight. The camera has correction data for a number of EF lenses preloaded, and new lenses can be added to the camera's database via EOS Utility. The camera can even distinguish between different lenses of the same model using the serial number (with compatible EF lenses).

Auto Picture Style & Scene Intelligent Auto (A+)

The EOS 5D Mark III not only features a number of Canon's Picture Style settings but also a new Picture Style Auto setting that finely controls color tones for every composition based on information from the camera's EOS Scene Detection System. For those of you who don't read Russian, the article provides a whistle stop tour of our state-of-the art facility, which features original works of modern art, chill-out lounge areas and the largest perflab and devtech teams outside of NVIDIA HQ in Silicon Valley. These groups work closely with game developers to ensure that the latest and greatest games work to perfection on NVIDIA graphics cards. Among the titles vetted by NVIDIA's Russian engineers are Crysis, Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, Mafia 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City and Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer, just to name a few. This is an important aspect of GeForce because the greatest graphics cards aren't very useful if they don't play nice with your favorite gaming titles. The Moscow-based lab, is one of four global NVIDIA facilities tasked with testing video games and other applications . Moreover, the Moscow office tests about 70% of the total volume of game content for NVIDIA. The Moscow PerfLab also collects data on the performance of NVIDIA GPUs in a variety of applications to provide feedback for our regular graphics card driver updates. Last year, our automated performance testing farm – which consists of 170 systems – compiled over 1.5 million test results on games, benchmarks, professional applications for working with 3D graphics and high performance computing.
