Transparent & Sexy Shower Comes Minus The Girl!

Posted: 29 Sep 2010 05:21 AM PDT

There is something sexy about combining electrical appliances with a transparent body and using nano-electrical technology. The transparent B-IRON 725, the Lupe Hand Washing System, and now this: The Dew Drop Gel Shower System. Fashioned to resemble a long transparent leaf with contrasting red heating lines running all over, it oozes with luxe looks! The shower incorporates the water heater and all controls in a very sophisticated, digital way…making you wish this wasn't a concept, but an inviting hot shower in your home!

Pin Sprouts

Posted: 29 Sep 2010 03:28 AM PDT

Tack-pins or metal push-pins have come a long way from their humble round-head-design. For the sake of convenience, the flat-round head has been given a "sprout" look here. Convenient to hold, push and pull!

Plant them in, or pull them out!

Ashes To Ashes; Odor To Perfume

Posted: 29 Sep 2010 02:32 AM PDT

Light one and it can be the cause of your death, and I'll light the other in your memory. Confused? Don't be. What we have here is the Ashtray Incense Burner, a ceramic bowl that is an ashtray on the right-side, flip it and it becomes an incense stick holder. One spreads odor, the other fragrance. One is the smell of death, the other of life! Can't do more poetic justice than this, dedicated to the smoker!

One Perfect Cup

Posted: 29 Sep 2010 12:10 AM PDT

Sven MILCENT & the Utopik Design Lab have done it! They’ve taken our entire collected evolution of cup-making and holding of drink history and combined it into one cup. One cup to hold them all. This is “One Glass for Every Drink” and it’s made to work for everyone. It of course tends to the four main glass-specific types of drink: water, cognac, wine, and champagne. It uses the same head and a different base for each of these. Sounds lovely doesn’t it? Let’s have a sip or two and talk about it.

This isn’t the first interchangeable base cup we’ve had here on Yanko, and it wont be the last. It’s a fantastic idea and deserving of a slew of attempts at it in order to make it perfect. Here’s one with some really fabulous ideas, and rather elegant ones if I do say so myself.

And while we’re at it, I’ve got to say that my favorite drink glass in the world must be the snifter – looked after here closely by that cognac glass on it’s side. Very sassy. Very nice. Very on it’s side where it definitely aught to be, havin a great time.

iPad Wood

Posted: 29 Sep 2010 12:03 AM PDT

Oh, to be held by a block of wood. The warm embrace of Mother Nature herself, all chopped down to a convenient size for us humanoids. Or in this case, us pieces of technological wonder. This is a stand for the iPad, the “Block22″ to be exact, and it’s mainly made of wood. Designers at Sherwood+Meister have created a masterpiece in simplicity and craftsmanship. Each piece is carved from a solid block of FSC-certified kiln-dried Ipe wood – a South American hardwood “prized for its enduring strength and density.” Ohh! Super fancy.

Each piece of wood used in the creation of the Block22 is harvested according to Forest Stewardship Council criteria, ensuring fair compensation for workers and sustainable harvesting techniques. After the carving and hand-stamping with polished aluminum accents, each Block22 is hand-rubbed with a fabulous satin finish.

The Block22’s groove is designed to match the iPad’s sensual curves in the most warm embrace, no matter the orientation, in a way that allows you easy access to all the buttons and switches. Along the bottom is 100% wool felt padding to provide a secure footing during use.

Wild Froggy Trike Action

Posted: 29 Sep 2010 12:02 AM PDT

This is the wildest recumbent trike you will ever see in all your days. It’s got such a fury that you’ll probably rocket off right into space when you ride it. It’s got customizability to the max, fitting directly to your body shape and desire. This is the “OOPHAGA” and it’s got a frog for a logo, and chassis made of carbon fiber. The color combination is customizable, and so are the rims. There’s shock absorbers, removable headrest, and because of its totally analog setup, is completely eco friendly. Made for asphalt, but dares you to take it offroad.

Designer Milos Todorovic informs us that this trike is light, durable, and ready for full customizability in both the decorations it has on it and in the pieces it’s made up of. This is one wild machine.
