Posted: 19 Oct 2010 03:19 AM PDT No point in consuming wine that hasn't aged sufficiently or buying plenty if you don't have proper cellars to store them. A mid-way option is the WAVE Ultra Sonic Wine Ager And Refrigerator concept. An appliance that features two-layered shelves with the inner walls emitting ultrasonic waves, to act on the molecules of the wine, to age them! A custom touchscreen helps you navigate through the settings, helping you determine the speed of aging at the touch of a button. Definite a prized gift for the connoisseur who has serious space issues at home!

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 02:01 AM PDT I'm not getting you high on any abusive substance here, but simply telling you about a new spiritual form of the ever-famous Coca Cola. Lovingly called the Mystic, this new package boasts of "sexy lines", "sculpted body", and "loving silhouette". It's not an attempt to get Eco Friendly, but just an exercise to bring happiness in 3 dimensions! Designer: Jerome Olivet ---------- |
Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:03 AM PDT LED lamps to satisfy even the strangest of desires for the newest and wildest of lamps. Before you you’ve got five lamps, all of the designed by QisDesign. These lamps go by the names Coral, Coral Reef, Piano, Crystal, and Seagull. They’re all abstracted to the maximum and pulled back into reality by a set of skilled designers obsessed with making magic out of the simple task of lighting a room. Coral is a lamp inspired by, you guessed it, natural coral, reflecting rays of light through the living sea. Using a lovely diffusion technique, this lamp shines light through the edges of its planes. Coral Reef is a floor lamp featuring 3 adjustable lighting layers that overlap and can be activated individually. A unique ambiance is created with each adjustment and position combination. Piano is a floor lamp which turns different shades when its “keys” are pressed. LED bulb’s low temperature allow for touching of the product’s surface without getting burnt. Fun for everyone! Crystal looks to by something you’d find in a science fiction film in the Unobtainium chamber where the power is found. It changes colors as you watch, shimmering, sparkling, and illuminating the room. Each of the crystals is connected to the next by a simple magnet, allowing for the user to create whatever structure they’d like. The Seagull Light table lamp is shaped like a seagull flying through the sky. Two knobs control the wings: one to control the brightness of the light, the other to adjust the angle of the flap. Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:03 AM PDT This is an automobile for the future of family transport and safety and it goes by the name “The Guardian.” Epic name! It’s automated enough that you need no license, there’s no age minimum, and you can be drunk as a sailor inside of it while it’s cruising down the road. Well that’s crazy!, you must be saying. It’s automated!, I say. I can’t help but think of the film Minority Report where the cars also all-but-drive themselves, allowing lots of freedom for speed but as you quickly realize, a lot of room for control by big brother. This isn’t that sort of situation though, is it? No way! This is the kind of car you can put your seven year old into and send them off to their friend’s house across town without worrying about them crashing or going the wrong way. It’s all programmed in. Simple controls inside also allow you to change course – press HOME to get home or look up the name of an associate the way you’d look them up in your cellphone now, hitting their name to travel to their house instead of calling them up. Inside you’ll also find a gaming console, movie unit, and an advanced large wide touch-screen TV with multiple screen-in-screens. The Guardian can accommodate up to 7 passengers: 4 adults and 3 kids. The size of the vehicle is offset by its material components, the largest one being aluminum. Four in-wheel electric motors using Lithium-ion batteries make it go with solar power combined with electric energy. Four wheel manuverability enables the vehicle to do a zero radius turn. There’s no front or rear so there’s no need for a U-turn. There’s basically nothing but windows so there’s no blind spots. Designer: John Bukasa of Casser Design ---------- |
Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:03 AM PDT The following project is based mainly in the sketch realm, so bare with me all ye lovers of reality. For the rest of you, take that last swig of caffeine and strap on your air-pistols because this is one o’ them destroyer robots! Named “Search Bot” by its father Alp Germaner. Designer Alp Germaner I should say, but refuse to! Because this is a child of the mind. A robot from the electronic zaps and responses of the brain of Germaner, father to a race of machines that will one day crush us all. This Search Bot is the product of lots and lots of computer gaming and a slick hand at birthing an ever-evolving robot body and base. I imagine someone like the Hulk or the Green Lantern could make quick work of these, but Batman? The Dazzler? Maybe not so much. A real contender to look forward to in the future of robots vs human war! Designer: Alp Germaner ---------- |
