Four Flavored Butter Spoon

Posted: 29 Oct 2010 03:15 AM PDT

Butter! Better! And in four yummy flavors! The idea here is to package butter in a very convenient single-serve way. Since single serves are usually consumed during travel or picnics, this package includes a wooden spoon lid. The solid spoon is used to spread the butter and does away the need to carry additional cutlery. The idea seems neat and can be extended to yogurts and ice creams too. Although a safe plastic cover like seen in this package, is recommended.

The New Logica Shift In Kitchen

Posted: 29 Oct 2010 02:41 AM PDT

Everything on hand, everything tidy in an instant.

This is the mantra behind the newly developed Logica System Kitchen. The back of the layout contains and conceals all the kitchen equipments at whim. The scratch resistance worktop is treated with nanotechnology & the SMEG hob can be camouflaged by using the same glass employed for the worktop. When the cooking is done, the system’s numerous features (and leftover mess) are easily hidden behind the pull-down hood.

The equipments in the kitchen include: the dish-drainer, weighing scales, small appliances, removable cooking receptacles, bottle-racks, power sockets, a monitor, a kitchen roll holder, the tap, hooks for utensils and even a cooker hood.

No-Guessing, Only Clear Punching

Posted: 29 Oct 2010 02:00 AM PDT

The Transparent Punch allows you to see where exactly you will be punching the hole in a paper. The red ring guides your placement and saves you from doing a shoddy job. I'm used to the double punch machine, but if a fancy-looking, practical one like this appears, I'm all for it!

Supersonic Stick on the Wrist for Blind People

Posted: 29 Oct 2010 12:11 AM PDT

It is very rare that I use the title of the project as the title of the post, but this one is just too magically perfect not to do that. This project goes by the incredibly long name “Supersonic Stick on the Wrist for Blind People” and it rocks. It uses “supersonic signals” aka sonar to both send out signals and receive them when they bounce back, giving then warning to the user of oncoming danger through sounds and vibrations.

The beauty in this project lies in the simplicity. Think first of being able to see everything around you. Then think about not being able to see anything. Then think about how wonderful it would be to have an object so simple it can fit in your hand give you another sense to replace the one you lost. Not quite as good as eyes, but it’s certainly something.

Fixies with Drinksies

Posted: 29 Oct 2010 12:10 AM PDT

All you bikers of the world, raise your glasses up high, then put them back down on the coaster because otherwise you’ll ruin the table! The project you’re looking at right now is called Crank Coasters, and like the majority of the really rocking projects we share here at Yanko, this one’s conceptual. The designer’s got the whole plan planned out, but he’s looking for a way to produce these cranks. Got any hard cold cash to throw his way?

The designer notes that even after hundreds of years of advancements in every nook and cranny of our everyday lives, you still notice furniture that’s going to absorb the water ring from the bottom of your glass. Truth! I think it’s because non-finished furniture feels nicer on my skin. But lo! I would like a few nice unbreakable solid steel (16 gauge cold-rolled steel) powder color coated 4″ wide with a non-slip rubber bottom bike crank coasters. Wouldn’t you? Take a walk over to KickStarter to kick this thang into action.

Lounging in Flat Sided Eggy

Posted: 29 Oct 2010 12:02 AM PDT

Welcome to the world of wonderful chairs, where you sit in one chair, enjoy it, then go out and purchase another. This is the world of rich people collecting chairs – it’s a real thing. But you don’t have to be rich to take a peek at this lovely seat “Urban-Chaotic Respite.” It’s like a flat-cell shaped chicken-laid lounger in all white! You’ll love chilling out with your little GameBoy or whatever you kids use today to play your video games.

This seat is indeed a contemporary lounge chair hand crafted in San Diego, California. Metal structure covered in metal sheet painted with Dupont car paint. Fancy!
