Posted: 08 Dec 2011 02:37 PM PST

The popular Android game Shadowgun has been enhanced to take advantage of the Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor. This demo shows Shadowgun's graphics performance when played on Tegra 3 devices.

In Shadowgun, the year is 2350 and you play the role of infamous bounty hunter John Slade. Your mission: neutralize mutant baddies.

Over the course of the past couple of months, Shadowgun developer Madfinger Games has been hard at work setting a new benchmark in mobile graphics.

The Tegra 3-optimized version of Shadowgun features console-quality water, enhanced rag-doll physics, particle effects, enhanced shaders and dynamic textures. These are only possible using Tegra 3's multi-core capabilities, and they make for a truly immersive and realistic gaming experience.

Check out the quad-core Shadowgun demo video below. For more information, check out Shadowgun and other Tegra-optimized games on Tegra Zone – click here.
