We’ll start this weeks breakdown off by saying Happy Father’s Day to all of you Gentleman. We hope you have a good one! First off we need to quickly mention the Samsung Galaxy S III again today, as it will be hitting store shelves for the masses in the next few days. Are you buying one? Then we saw plenty of news from Verizon, Google I/O is on the horizon and more.

Verizon had a big week this week. The most important news however is they launched their new “Share Everything” data plans. Essentially you pay monthly for each device, up to 10 devices, and then pay another fee for the amount of data all those devices will consume. The pricing seems to be going up for many, so it’s been a bit controversial.

In other Verizon news they pushed ahead with a quick and small DROID Bionic update that finally seems to have fixed some of those pesky 3G/4G LTE data problems. Verizon also sent out text messages alerting DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX owners that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich was coming soon, and to be ready — so that is good to finally hear.

The extremely popular 3rd person shooter video game Max Payne by Rockstar games finally arrived for Android, and is awesome. Microsoft released their first game for the Android platform, Kinectimals, and seems to be fun for kids. Then the quad-core powered LG Eclipse 4G LTE is reportedly headed to AT&T.

Google Play Books are now available in Germany and Spain, CyanogenMod 9 RC builds are almost ready for the public, and T-Mobile confirmed 4G LTE trials begin later this summer. Google I/O is coming in just over a week and we seriously can’t wait and are giddy with excitement. We don’t know what all to expect, but have a few good ideas, and can’t wait to share all the details with our readers as we’ll be there live. Hit the rest of the links below for more news from the past week in the awesome world of Android.
