The week has blazed by. And what another gadget-crammed seven days it has been. But don’t worry if you’ve missed anything. We’ve lassoed all the best bits from the week right here, so read on for your weekly tech catchup.

Word got out that Apple might soon make it easy to share your musical preferences with your judgmental mates. And streaming? Who knows?

Nike patents Back To The Future style trainers
Maybe we will have trainers that automatically tie their own laces by 2015 after all – that is if Nike’s latest patent is anything to go by.

New Apple products coming next week
Why else would Apple be holding an event this coming Wednesday (September 1st), where it’s likely that new iPods will be announced.

New iPod Touch in video leakage
Among the new products expected to be revealed by Apple is a new iPod Touch. One website earlier posted parts of the new iPod Touch in this video leak, giving us an idea of what it’ll look like – it has a front facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab goes official in teaser video
Looks like the iPad is about to get a rival to its crown as most popular portable tablet with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It’s a 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet with Flash support. Check out the cool teaser video for it here.
